SERINO PUTS SPOTLIGHT ON LYME IN LATEST AD

WAPPINGER, NY—The re-election campaign of Senator Sue Serino released its latest television commercial entitled, “The Truth About Lyme.” The thirty-second spot recently began running on cable and puts the spotlight squarely on the Senator’s efforts to combat the spread of Lyme and Tick-Borne Diseases (TBDs) and her work to find a responsible solution to providing insurance coverage for those who suffer from the disease.

Since taking office, Serino—who Chairs the Senate’s Taskforce on Lyme and Tick-Borne Diseases—has secured unprecedented funding for research and prevention initiatives to the tune of $1,200,000. Further, she has successfully ushered in the passage of laws aimed at raising awareness for the diseases and educating our young people to help prevent their spread.
