Dutchess County Legislator and 41st state Senate District Candidate Sue Serino (R,C,I-Hyde Park) will be hosting a “Let’s Talk” community meeting this Saturday, August 9 from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. at the Daily Planet Diner, 1202 Route 55 in Lagrangeville. The event will provide a forum for residents to address issues of concern in their community.

“I am thrilled to bring the “Let’s Talk” series to the Daily Planet Diner in Lagrangeville. Getting out into the community and speaking to constituents is one of the best part of being a legislator,” said Serino. “Whether it’s listening to our seniors about how to lower our taxes, or talking to concerned parents about Common Core and the heroin epidemic, my ‘Let’s Talk’ series has always given me the opportunity to hear firsthand how people really feel about certain issues. We had a great turnout at our first event in Fishkill and I’m eager to hear from residents in Lagrangeville and the surrounding communities. I encourage everyone to come join me this Saturday for a cup of coffee and a good conversation.”

Serino has hosted previous “Let’s Talk” events at critical junctures during the county legislative session. She is now expanding the series as a district-wide effort.
