Dutchess County Legislator and 41st State Senate District Candidate Sue Serino (R,C,I-Hyde Park) will be hosting a “Let’s Talk” community meeting this Saturday, July 26 from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the 84 Diner, 853 New York 52 in Fishkill. The event will provide a forum for residents to address issues of concern in their community.
“I am thrilled to launch “Let’s Talk” throughout the 41st Senate District. Getting out into the community and speaking to my constituents is the best part of being a Legislator,” said Serino. “Whether it’s listening to our seniors about how to lower our taxes, or talking to concerned parents about common core and the heroine epidemic, my ‘Let’s Talk’ series has always given me the opportunity to hear first-hand how people really feel about certain issues. I want to encourage everyone to come join me this Saturday for a cup of coffee, some great food, and a good conversation.”
Serino has hosted previous “Let’s Talk” events at critical junctures in the county legislative session. She hopes to continue the series as a district wide effort.
